Founding Statement

In 1980 a small group of 15 people met in a house in Sunshine. They decided to start a Christian Fellowship with this founding statement.

"As the majority of our members are Vietnamese-Chinese, the purpose of establishing the Christian Fellowship is to care for each other, to share about each others spiritual gains and to pray for the churches, pastors and the congregation in Vietnam. The aim is also to support the Gospel work of other churches in Vietnam by giving money and sending parcels to them."

Today

Many years later the Melbourne Chinese Bible Church has grown beyond its founding statement. We are now proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout Melbourne's western suburbs.
